Notes

  1. starting lineups: Crawford / Belinelli / Jackson / Wright / Biedrins vs. Williams / Brewer / Miles / Millsap / Okur
  2. keys to the game - 1) field goal % 2) inside defense 3) start strongly
  3. Boozer and Azubuike out
  4. Biedrins opens Warriors scoring with an effortless flip in the post

  8. Jackson with nice drive and dish to Biedrins for slam
  9. 13-4 Warriors lead and force Sloan to call 1st timeout
  10. Wright's floaters aren't going down - too far from hoop
  11. Kurz in for Wright; 5:50 1Q; 19-14 Warriors
  12. Warriors are doing well to resist temptation to shoot long jumpers vs. this team that is not a shot blocking team
  13. Derron Williams gives Jazz lead w/ 3 pt shot
  14. Maggette makes first appearance since Dec. 6
  15. Jackson nails long 3, swish
  16. Okur abuses Kurz with post spin move

  18. 29-28 Warriors end of 1Q
  19. Maggette with 2nd steal and breakaway dunk, injures leg and exits to locker room
  20. Watson enters game for Belinelli (7 pts, 1 ast)
  21. Wright misses easy layup; not rebounding on both ends - could get him the hook
  22. Wright can't handle pass from Jackson on break; wouldn't be surprised if Wright sits for a while, if not entire game
  23. Biedrins and Kurz in for Turiaf and Wright
  24. Maggette in for Kurz seconds later
  25. Jackson feeling it from outside
  26. Kufous looking good; nice dump off, then block
  27. Jackson getting abused by Milsap
  28. Warriors look lazy on the defensive glass
  29. Milsap w/ 17 straight double-doubles; 2 away from breaking Malone's record for Jazz
  30. Maggette playing well for 1st game back; looks quick, making more passes than usual
  31. 51-53 Jazz; 2:30 2Q
  32. Warriors shooting exceptionally well tonight; 51.2%
  33. Jazz fan blows whistle, Warriors stop playing and Jazz get free dunk as a result - par for the course for Jazz fans; guy with refs jersey may have been culprit
  34. Crawford with yet another foul on his 3 pt shot
  35. Jackson pulls hamstring....looks bad
  36. 59-65 Jazz lead at halftime
  37. leaders: Crawford 18 pts, Jackson and Biedrins 4 reb, Jackson 4 ast, Jackson 2 stl, Turiaf and Biedrins 1 blk, Belinelli 2 3pt shots
  38. Jackson out
  39. lack of rebounding hurting the Warriors again; no one seems to care as much as Randolph or Biedrins

  51. Maggette plays Millsap well in the post, causes turnover
  52. Morrow still perfect w/ 14 pts
  53. Nellie pulls Morrow out for a while; Jazz go on a mini run
  54. I like the unselfish version of Maggette - but still not his contract
  55. And-1 by Brewer pushes Jazz lead to 7
  56. great effort by Warriors, especially with losing Jackson for the 2nd half
  57. Warriors lose 114 to 119

Maggette came back with a more team oriented attitude
and his trademark ability to get to the free throwline

Postgame Quotes
Corey Maggette
On Tonight's Game:
“I think our team really played extremely hard tonight. I think a big factor in this game was Jack leaving the game with a pulled hamstring and I definitely know about that. That’s what I’ve been going through for the past month right now so hopefully we can get him back healthy.”

On playing after injury
“It was a great opportunity to get out. I’m glad with what we did with resting as much as possible and getting an opportunity to play. I didn’t expect to play 30 minutes, but at the end of the day I just wanted to go out there and give the effort for the team and whatever I could do.”

Jamal Crawford
On Tonight's Game:
“I’m looking at the bigger picture. It’s just weird for us, because when somebody comes back somebody else goes out. We got Corey back and then Stephen went out. That’s tough against a great team like that (Utah Jazz); they are really well coached. It’s hard to play in this building. We had a valiant effort we just made some mistakes toward the end.”

Warriors-Jazz 114-119 I Crawford 28pts,6ast vs Williams 25pts,15ast
