Warriors lost all control in the 3rd Quarter

Notes
  1. starting lineup: Crawford, Jackson, Maggette, Wright, Biedrins
  2. Maggette is a one-trick pony; if he's not scoring, he's not helping in any other ways; he has the strength and athleticism to be a good rebounder, but he does not have the desire; very frustrating watching him out there trying to score vs. LeBron and others; does not seem to be getting the foul calls he used to get in Clippers
  3. Jackson got injured early but returned; made a comment about no one passing the ball after the game - hope he realizes he was one of the main culprits
  4. C.J. Watson had another great shooting game coming off the bench; would like to see more assists, but he has been a bright spot the last couple of games on this dismal road trip
  5. Crawford looked pretty good; shot well and is starting to look more comfortable in the offense; his defensive effort was pathetic in transition - this is to be expected but should not be tolerated by Nelson; bring in a defensive guru to change the culture of the team
  6. if you're going to go small ball, you better utilize your quickness and activity on the defensive end - harass, anticipate, deflect, switch hard, fight screens, box out and attack the boards; Maggette does not fit in as an acceptable PF in Nellieball - not enough effort
  7. good to see Wright start, but Nellie still wants to revert back to small ball even though they are getting killed on the glass every night; we don't have the dominant PG or good enough rebounding smalls to make it work - you can't force it
  8. Randolph starts the 3rd Q, but Jackson and Maggette dominate the ball; 1 reb, 1 blk in his 5 min. stint; taken out and Warriors fall deeper into the hole
  9. Watson/Belinelli/Morrow/Randolph/Wright start the 4th w/ Kurz playing 8 min and Crawford 5 min. - outscore Cavs bench 29 to 18
  10. Belinelli deserves longer stints - he's shooting well and giving good effort on defense; Morrow needs to get his aggressiveness back and quit defering to others or trying to drive when he has an open shot
  11. Jackson plays 25 min and Maggette 32 min - should be good to go vs. Harrington and the Knicks; Jackson and Maggette need to share the ball; Maggette needs to do more than just be a scorer; Nellie has to insert other younger, more energizing options if Jackson and Maggette aren't playing efficiently

Crawford had his first solid game as a Warrior

Postgame Quotes

Stephen Jackson
On The Cavs:
"They have everything they need in that starting lineup and they're starting to put all the pieces together."

On Today's Game:
"We aren't passing the ball. When you share the ball, good things happen. When everybody is out there for (themselves), you don't win like that.''
