A lot of people thought Kevin Love would fail miserably, and many experts project him to be a bust. He seems to be doing very well for an undersized, over-weight, 20-year old rookie. Third best PER for rookies behind Speights and Oden.

Love had a rough shooting slump the first couple of months, but has adjusted well and is now hitting at .543 for Jan. He would have been great for this team even though he's not very athletic - think Rob Kurz with more skill and intangibles. We could use his rebounding and pinpoint outlet passes to spark the fast break. He hasn't shot many 3 pointers, but the ability to hit them is there. Biedrins would love playing next to Love - smart, big bodied, unselfish, and skilled.
